........I Covered GDX (Gold Miners ETF) At 46.98
I covered GDX (Gold Miners ETF, http://stockcharts.com/charts/gallery.html?gdx) at 46.98 at 9:43:50 today (less than 14 minutes after the open) after shorting it at 48.05 at 15:36:20 yesterday (3:36:20 pm, less than 24 minutes before yesterday's close), so, it was a good very brief (less than 38 minutes of session time) overnight trade.
Both the NEM and WMT Lead Indicators (NEM at http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ta?s=^XAU&t=1d&l=on&z=m&q=l&p=&a=&c=^hui,nem, and, WMT at http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ta?s=%5EHUI&t=1d&l=off&z=l&q=l&p=&a=,p12,fs,w14&c=wmt,%5EGSPC) turned clearly bullish early today, which was basically why I quickly covered.
NEM filled it's downside gap at 50.50 early today (see http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ta?s=NEM&t=5d&l=off&z=l&q=c&p=&a=p12,fs,w14&c=) and the XAU filled it's downside gap at 175.65 early today, which was another reason to at least look to cover.
NEM is trying to fill today's upside gap at 50.91, HUI is trying to fill today's upside gap at 438.93, GDX is trying to fill today's upside gap at 48.15, and, the XAU is trying to fill today's upside gap at 180.24. If those upside gaps get filled, or, if they clearly don't get filled, that will be a sign to look to go short again, definitely today if they don't get filled and probably today or tomorrow if they do get filled.
