The reason why most "Elliot Wavers" fail is because they rarely understand cycles, hence they tend to get the Elliot Wave count wrong because they start at the wrong time.

Any gold/silver stocks that have completed a 9-18 monthish Cyclical Bear Market in the past year or two are trading/investing candidates, then you do your due diligence. CDE for example completed a 16 monthish Cyclical Bear Market in late May 2005, which means that CDE's late May 2005 cycle low should hold, and, once this major correction (for CDE, for HUI/NEM/XAU it's not a correction but part of a Wave 2 Cyclical Bear Market since 5-11-06 for HUI/XAU and since 1-31-06 for reliable lead indicator NEM) ends CDE should be a great buy for investors/traders (do your due diligence, this is an example NOT a recommendation), at least from a technical "Trade the Cycles" perspective.
