It's about an hour until the Fed makes their rate announcement (usually about 2:15 pm EST) accompanied by a statement. There will be no rate hike, but their view of the economy, inflation, and interest rates is always of interest, especially now. It'll be interesting to see if they comment on the housing implosion, and, if they try to minimize it's importance or minimize the actual magnitude of the downturn. They generally avoid scaring the markets like the plague, so, keep that in mind. I'll post their comments later and see if there's anything interesting/unexpected.
